“Comprehensive Nurture”
ACE is a self-paced curriculum based on five key principles of learning which are;
The ACE programme covers six core subjects: Mathematics, English, Word Building, Literature and Creative Writing, Science and Social Studies plus Bible and several other elective subjects at the secondary level such as Business Studies
Each subject is divided into achievable workbooks called Package of Accelerated Christian Education (PACE) which takes two to three weeks to complete depending on the ability of the child.
At the end of each PACE a student should take a PACE Test where they must score a minimum of 80% in order to continue to the next PACE number.
Shoma is a Christian School whose major aim is to teach children Christian values through comprehensive nurture and ACE programme was the best curriculum to support this cause.

Two Parents’ Fellowships are held every term, to share insights and sharpen one another on the complementary roles of home and school. Children also take this opportunity to make creative and academic presentations.
We have students enrolled from Grade 1-3 which is Foundation Level, Grade 4-6 which is the Intermediate Level, Grade 7-9 which is the Senior Level and Grade 10-12 which is the Advanced Level.
As of now, we have students in all the above levels.
In ACE, students learn to do work on their own with help from the Learning Center Supervisor and Monitors where they are helped to set achievable daily goals and work towards finishing those goals by putting in effort and encouraging them to love what they do.
Students are able to have self-confidence, focus, determination through learning how to do work on their own and working on their own pace without comparison.
At the Level of Grade 8 which is equivalent to S.2-S.3, the students register for the International Certificate of Christian Education (ICCE) with ICCE to acquire the General Certificate which is issued out at the end of Grade 9 an equivalent of S.4.
In Grade 10, the students acquire an Intermediate Certificate and at Grade 12, they acquire the Advanced Certificate which is the equivalent of the UACE Certificate.
